How do I clean my Nectar Hybrid Mattress?

Our Hybrid mattresses have all been treated with an Aegis microbial treatment to help them keep fresh, but sometimes accidents happen! If any spills occur, spot cleaning your Nectar Hybrid cover is really easy.
For spills and light accidents, we recommend spot cleaning the cover as soon as the spill or stain occurs with a damp cloth and mild detergent or hand soap taking care not to let liquid reach the underlying foam layers. For bigger or deeper set stains, an upholstery or spot cleaner or cleaning device would work well but we don't recommend removing the mattress cover entirely as the underlying foam mattress layers may get damaged in the process. If you do remove the cover, we strongly advise against moving the mattress, adding any liquids or other environmental substances to it or in any way disturbing the foam layers if the cover is off. Removing the cover will also void all warranties. Keeping the cover intact will help protect the integrity of the mattress so that you may enjoy amazing sleep for years to come. For an easier method of keeping your mattress clean, we strongly advise the use of a stain and water-resistant mattress protector (such as the ones we have available for purchase on our site) which may be removed and laundered from time to time and will keep your Nectar mattress in tip top condition!

What is the difference between a hybrid mattress and memory foam?

A memory foam mattress is made of polyurethane foam, whereas a hybrid mattress is constructed with multiple layers of innerspring coils, and memory foam. However, the support core is the significant difference between the hybrid vs. memory foam mattress.
When compared to memory foam, hybrid mattresses can be more breathable to help you sleep cool throughout the night. But you can't go wrong with a Nectar Hybrid or memory foam mattress, since they all have cooling covers. Another difference is that while the memory foam offers a hugging sensation, contouring to the shape of your body, a hybrid mattress provides a more responsive feel due to the springs.

Please note that removal of your existing items is at the discretion of the service provider, and may not be available in some areas due to safety restrictions.

Most couples choose to have a King or California King sized bed based on preference for more space for each person. However, since space can be limited, the next most favorable bed size for couples is a Queen. Anything smaller than a Queen size is going to be a tight squeeze for two, and you will feel each other moving around at night. A King size Nectar memory foam mattress reduces motion transfer significantly and provides ample space, so you'll get a great night’s sleep even when sharing your bed with partners and/or pets.

A Full size (or double) bed is not typically comfortable for two people to sleep in. A Full sized bed is ideal for a child and a parent reading a bedtime story, or a person and their pet – but not two adults who need room to move around at night or have different sleeping positions. For two adults, a Full size only gives you 27\" of space each, which is likely not enough for most people to rest comfortably throughout the night.

That depends. If measuring by cubic feet, a King mattress is the largest bed that Nectar offers, at 42.2ft³. A California King mattress from Nectar comes in at 42ft³.

However, a King mattress is 80in(L) x 76\"(W) x 12\"(H) whereas a California King is 84in(L) x 72in(W) x 12in(H). The California King mattress is 4 inches narrower and four inches longer than a King mattress, so it depends on the shape and size of your room.

Will two Twin beds placed next to each other be the same size as a King bed?

It's a popular myth however, two regular Twin beds do NOT equal a King bed. In fact, two Twin XL beds equal a King size and can be a good option for someone using two beds in a guest room that they can also push together if the need arises. Two regular Twin mattress are the same width as a King, but shorter in length by 5 inches.

A standard Twin bed is 38 inches wide and 75 inches long; a standard King bed is 76 inches wide and 80 inches long. However, two Twin XL beds pushed together is about the same size as a King bed and you could get away with King size sheets.
