Question 1

Does the Adjustable Frame fit inside your other bed frames?

Accepted Answer

The Resident Adjustable Frame can be paired with other non-adjustable bed frames. However, it's important to keep in mind that there are slight variations between frames and sizes that may affect your ability to use some of them with the Resident Adjustable Frame.

Question 2

Are the Adjustable Frame legs adjustable?

Accepted Answer

Our frames come with three different size legs. 8\", 3\", and 2\" extenders, and you can use all of any of these pieces to get to your preferred height.

Question 3

Where are the USB ports located?

Accepted Answer

The convenient USB ports are located at the back (underneath) of the head section of your adjustable frame to provide easy access for charging today's tech devices.

Question 4

Can I use the Adjustable Frame with a frame with drawers?

Accepted Answer

No, the Adjustable Frame will not fit inside your bed frame with drawers

Question 5

Do you have a 1 piece king size?

Accepted Answer

For a king size Adjustable Frame, you'll want to add two Twin XL bases to your cart. This allows you to use your adjustable bed with one king size mattress or use two for a split king set up.

Question 6

Can I add a side rail?

Accepted Answer

Adding a side rail to your adjustable frame is not recommended. This will void your trial and warranty of the adjustable frame.

Question 7

Does the Adjustable Frame have any magnets? Is it safe for people with pacemakers to use?

Accepted Answer

The adjustable frame does NOT have any magnets or magnetic components. It is completely safe for people with pacemakers to sleep on.

Question 8

What if I don’t find the Adjustable Frame comfortable after I use it?

Accepted Answer

Most customers love the Adjustable Frame. It has many settings for you to achieve personalized comfort. However, if you are not 100% satisfied, you can return your adjustable frame for a full refund up to 50 nights after your purchase. It’s risk-free to try our adjustable frame.

Question 9

Does the frame elevate from both ends?

Accepted Answer

Yes, our Adjustable Frame lets you elevate your head and feet at the same time or independantly. You can choose the 'head up' setting to watch TV, or the 'foot up' setting for a restorative pose, or both at the same time, all while enjoying a relaxing massage or the Zero Gravity setting for customized comfort.

Question 10

Is there wood in the Adjustable Frame?

Accepted Answer

There is pinewood inside the cover of the Adjustable Frame for attaching the fabric just along the edge side. It's about 2-3% of the total material.

Question 11

Is this a "wall hugger"?

Accepted Answer

No. Moving the head position upright will pull the head portion away from the wall.

Question 12

How long does it take to assemble?

Accepted Answer

On average, it takes about 10-20 minutes to assemble.

Question 13

Is the footboard adjustable?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the head and footboard can adjust separately.

Question 14

What are the approved types of mattresses to use with the Adjustable Frame?

Accepted Answer

Our Adjustable Frame pairs perfectly with any of our mattresses. Please note that we cannot guarantee that all non-Resident mattresses will work with the adjustable frame.

Question 15

With the bending of the mattress is there any chance the coils would become damaged (unwrapped) or entwined like a slinky?

Accepted Answer

Our mattresses are designed to pair perfectly with the Adjustable Frame and will not impact the quality of your mattress. We suggest returning the frame to the flat position when the frame is currently not being used.

Question 16

Are there different massage options?

Accepted Answer

Yes, there are three different massage settings.

Question 17

What is the Zero Gravity Position?

Accepted Answer

"When we sleep on a traditional mattress, the area of our body that is touching the bed is often subjected to pressure from the weight of the rest of the body. This is a natural result of most mattresses, which are designed to provide some padding under our bodies during sleep but are not specifically contoured to each individual person’s body.

While there is no mattress that can actually defy gravity, the idea of a “zero-gravity” mattress is similar to the idea of being in space—gravity exerts force, or pressure, on our bodies, so the ability to adjust a bed to a position where there is less gravity means less pressure, and more restful sleep."

Question 18

Can the Split King Adjustable Bed Frame be used with a Cal King mattress?

Accepted Answer

No, a Cal King mattress is too long to use with a Split King frame

Question 19

Is there a bracket to attach/link to Twin XLs to each other?

Accepted Answer

No, they sit flush with each other.

Question 20

How can I sync my 2 Adjustable Bed Frames to work as a king bed?

Accepted Answer

To operate two adjustable beds simultaneously, you must connect both beds using the sync cable. Plug both Bed A and Bed B into working electrical outlets. A surge protector is recommended. Press the FLAT button on Remote A and Remote B to align the beds properly in a flat position.
Plug one end of the sync cable into the control box on Bed A. Insert it into the port labeled SYNC. Plug the other end of the sync cable into the control box on Bed B. Insert it into the port labeled SYNC.
Bed A and Bed B can now be controlled simultaneously using Remote A or Remote B. NOTE: When operating beds in tandem, both beds should always be plugged into working electrical outlets

Question 21

How do I un-sync my 2 Adjustable Bed Frames to make it work independently?

Accepted Answer

To operate the ABF individually, all you have to do is remove the sync cable from the control box of one of the ABFs.

Question 22

How many buttons on the remote can I customize?

Accepted Answer

There are 4 preset buttons that you can re-program to suit your preference. These buttons are the M - memory button, ZG - Zero Gravity button, Reading position button, and TV position button.

Question 23

How do I customize the memory and preset buttons?

Accepted Answer

You can store new head and foot positions by customizing the memory and preset buttons. For safety reasons, the Flat and Anti-Snore buttons cannot be customized.
1. Move the head and/or foot sections to your desired position.
2. Press and hold the FLAT button and the M or the preset button that you want to customize for 5 seconds until the remote backlight flashes. The new bed position is now stored in the memory or the selected preset button overriding the factory default.

Question 24

My bed is not working and the remote is just blinking fast.

Accepted Answer

When the remote is blinking fast, it is an indication that the remote is locked. All you have to do is press and hold the lock button (beside the pair button) until the remote flashes. This should release the remote from being locked. Your adjustable bed should respond to the remote this time.

Question 25

My Adjustable Frame is not responding and I already checked that the remote is not locked.

Accepted Answer

There are times that the remote gets un-paired with the bed making the ABF unresponsive. To pair it again, just follow these steps. 1. Unplug the ABF from the outlet/wall for at least 10-15 seconds. 2. Plug the ABF into a working outlet. A surge protector is advised. 3. On the remote, press and hold the PAIR button until the remote flashes. This should pair your remote to your ABF.

Question 27

What forms of payment are accepted?

Accepted Answer

We accept American Express, Visa, Mastercard, and Discover, and happily extend financing options via Affirm. We also accept Amazon Pay and PayPal. We do not currently accept any pre-paid credit cards.

Question 28

What is Affirm?

Accepted Answer

Affirm is a financing alternative to credit cards and other credit payment products. Affirm offers real-time financing for purchases online. With Affirm, you can buy and receive your purchase now, and pay for it in fixed monthly installments from 3, 6, 12, 18, and 24 months. For example, instead of $1,500 up front, pay only $63 a month at 0% APR over 24 months. A down payment may be required.

Question 29

Why buy with Affirm?

Accepted Answer

Here is what Affirm offers:

• Buy and receive your purchase now, and pay for it over time. This allows you to split up the price of your purchase into fixed payment amounts that fit your monthly budget.

• If Affirm approves you for a loan, Affirm discloses your loan terms before you make your purchase. You’ll know exactly how much you’ll owe each month, the number of payments you must make, and the total amount of interest you’ll be paying over the course of the loan. Affirm does not charge hidden fees.

• The application process is secure and in real-time. Affirm asks you for a few pieces of information. After you provide this information, Affirm will notify you of the loan amount you’re approved for, the interest rate, and the number of months you will have to pay off your loan, all within seconds.

• You don’t need to have a credit card to make a purchase. Affirm lends to its partners directly on your behalf.

• Affirm bases its loan decision not only on your credit score, but also on several other data points about you. You may be eligible for Affirm financing even if you don’t have an extensive credit history.

• Affirm will send you email and SMS reminders in advance of your upcoming payment. You can also enable “Autopay” to schedule automatic monthly payments on your loan.

Question 30

How does Affirm work?

Accepted Answer

Here are the steps in the Affirm loan application process:

1. Select to pay with Affirm at checkout.

2. Affirm will prompt you to enter a few pieces of information – your name, email, mobile phone number, date of birth, and the last four digits of your social security number. Please ensure that all of this information is your own and is consistent information otherwise you may experience difficulty with your checkout.

3. To ensure that you’re the person making the purchase, Affirm will send a text message to your cell phone with a unique authorization code.

4. Enter the authorization code into the application form.

5. Within a few seconds, Affirm will notify you of the loan amount you’re approved for, the interest rate, and the number of months you will have to pay off your loan. You will have the option to choose to pay off your loan over time. Affirm will also state the amount of your fixed, monthly payments and the total amount of interest you’ll pay over the course of the loan.

6. If you would like to accept Affirm’s financing offer, click “Confirm Loan” and you’re done.

Going forward, you’ll get monthly email and SMS reminders about your upcoming payments. You can also set up autopay to avoid missing a payment. Your first monthly payment will be due 30 days from the date we the merchant completes processing your order.

Question 31

How does Affirm approve borrowers for loans?

Accepted Answer

Affirm will ask you for a few pieces of personal information – your name, email, mobile phone number, date of birth, and the last four digits of your social security number. Affirm uses this information to verify your identity, and to make an instant loan decision. Affirm will base its loan decision not only on your credit score, but also on several other data points about you. This means you may be able to obtain financing from Affirm even if don’t have an extensive credit history.

Question 32

Does Affirm perform a credit check?

Accepted Answer

Yes, when you first create an Affirm account, Affirm performs a ‘soft’ credit check to help verify your identity and determine your eligibility for financing. This ‘soft’ credit check will not affect your credit score.

Question 33

Why was I denied financing by Affirm?

Accepted Answer

Please contact Affirm https://helpcenter.affirm.com/us/s/contact-us, Affirm will notify you of the reason(s) for the decision via email.

Please follow these steps to make a payment:

1. Go to www.affirm.com/account

2 .You will be prompted to enter in your mobile number where you will be sent a personalized security pin.

3 .Enter this security pin into the form on the next page and click “Sign In.”

4 .You’ll now see a list of your loans and payments coming due. Click on the loan payment you would like to make.

5 .You can make a payment utilizing a debit card or ACH bank transfer.

Question 35

Are there any interest or fees associated with Affirm loans (late fees)?

Accepted Answer

Affirm loans vary between 0% APR and 36% APR simple interest. The corresponding finance charge is the only fee associated with an Affirm loan. Affirm does not charge late fees, service fees, prepayment fees, APR penalties or any other hidden fees for a late payment. They strive to always be more transparent and fair than any other form of financing.

Question 36

How do HSA and FSA accounts work?

Accepted Answer

HSA and FSA accounts let you set aside pre-tax dollars to cover qualified health-related expenses. HSAs typically link to high-deductible health plans and funds roll over year to year. FSAs often must be used within the same calendar year. Using these funds on eligible Nectar sleep products can offer significant savings.

Question 37

How does using HSA/FSA funds save me money?

Accepted Answer

Purchases made with HSA/FSA funds are tax-free. Depending on your tax bracket, this can effectively reduce your mattress or adjustable base cost by up to 40% or more, making it easier to invest in better sleep.

Question 38

Why do I need a Health Assessment and Provider Review?

Accepted Answer

Some products require a brief health assessment and review by a licensed provider to confirm eligibility. This ensures your purchase aligns with HSA/FSA guidelines.

Question 39

What if only part of my cart qualifies?

Accepted Answer

If only certain products are eligible, you can pay for the entire order with a credit card and then follow instructions from Truemed to submit the eligible portion to your HSA/FSA administrator for reimbursement.

Question 40

Can I use my HSA/FSA at Nectar?

Accepted Answer

Yes, select Truemed as your payment option at checkout and use your HSA or FSA card like any other credit card.

Question 41

Why is only part of my mattress eligible for reimbursement?

Accepted Answer

Mattresses are considered partially eligible, meaning you can only get reimbursed for the cost of health-related advanced features beyond the cost of a basic mattress. To learn more, click here. https://help.truemed.com/en/articles/3741889

Question 42

Can I use my regular credit card at checkout?

Accepted Answer

Yes, Truemed will provide instructions on how to submit for reimbursement from your HSA/FSA administrator.

Question 43

What if I don’t have enough HSA/FSA funds to cover everything?

Accepted Answer

You can use a regular credit card to pay for your purchase, then submit the eligible portion of your cart for reimbursement from your remaining HSA/FSA balance.

Question 44

What if my HSA/FSA payment is declined?

Accepted Answer

If your HSA/FSA payment doesn’t go through, you can still complete your purchase using a credit or debit card. Contact your plan administrator for more information on why the payment was declined.
