Use These Celebrity Sleep Habits For a Better Sleep
It used to be that great beds were the purview of the rich and famous. Luckily for all of us, memory mattresses prices have come way down in their price point, enough so that everyone can enjoy the benefits of a good night’s sleep. We thought it might be interesting to take a look at some of our favorite celebrities who seem to be drinking from the fountain of youth and figure out what their secrets were. It turns out: sleep is a huge part of it. A good night’s sleep on memory mattresses is the elixir that keeps these celebrities looking good, and gives them plenty of energy to face the day. So check out the list below, and soon you’ll be snoozing like a celebrity.
Keep A Journal Like Kelly Clarkson
Kelly Clarkson loves sleep for the creativity it fosters in her life. A lot of her song lyrics come from things that she’s thinking about as she drifts off to sleep. Keeping a journal by your bed can be a great way to center yourself, to analyze the thoughts that come to you throughout the day, and externalize them so that you won’t have trouble nodding off on one of our memory mattresses.
Get Plenty of Sleep Like Mariah Carey
Mariah Carey told Interview Magazine in 2007 that she gets fifteen hours of sleep a night! While you don’t need that much (the average adult needs only between seven and nine hours) it is important to schedule that time out so that you don’t lose it. Make sleep a priority. Also, Carey loves to have a humidifier in her room, which she says helps soothe her vocal chords. In typical Mariah Carey fashion, she has twenty of them, but you’ll probably need just the one if you’re dealing with dry air at night.
Avoid Blue Light Like Eminem
Eminem is known for his tough guy persona, but even a tough guy has to get shut-eye. Eminem’s touring schedule leaves him traveling a lot, staying in different hotel rooms every night, so he’s taken to creating a war against UV light (which can harm our sleep). Not only does Eminem not sleep with electronics present, he also wraps tinfoil around the blinds in his hotel to block out extra UV light that could be getting in. While this probably isn’t necessary where you live, it is a good idea to keep your electronics away from your sleep space. UV light can mess up the signals for sleep in your body, taking those away can help you fall asleep right away (especially on comfy memory mattresses).
Get a Great Mattress Like Kim Kardashian
Recently media mogul, Kim Kardashian spent over a million dollars buying new beds and mattresses. She obviously knows the value of a good night’s sleep. Luckily for us, memory mattresses are significantly less expensive, without losing any of the benefits of a good night’s sleep. If you’re looking for a new mattress, there’s only one place you need to check Nectar’s website has the hookup for all your sleep needs, whether you’re a celebrity or just want to sleep like one.
